Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Housekeeper to create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents in a senior living setting. You will clean resident suites, bathrooms, and common areas, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces while respecting residents' privacy and safety standards.

The role includes supporting laundry operations, handling linens, and storing chemicals per infection-control procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles preferred.
• Ability to follow safety and infection-control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident suites, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize assigned areas.
• Clean and polish fixtures, furniture, and surfaces.
• Respect resident privacy and knock before entering rooms.
• Collect trash and maintain clean disposal areas.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute community laundry.
• Inspect linens for wear and manage replacements.
• Store chemicals safely and follow infection control standards.
• Keep carts, equipment, and hallways clear and compliant.
