Binghamton Jellystone Park welcomes applicants for a seasonal Housekeeping Ranger role, April to early November. You will maintain campground cleanliness, including bath/shower houses and lodging areas, following a checklist to ensure a safe, fun environment for guests.

The role may involve cross-training in food service and stepping into other tasks as needed, all while contributing to a stress-free, memorable camping experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a housekeeper or cleaner preferred.
• Able to work with minimal supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
• Friendly, customer-oriented personality.
• Strong organizational skills and an eye for detail.
• Able to work quickly without compromising quality.
• Capable of lifting up to 50lbs and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning activities including sweeping, mopping, dusting, etc.
• Inspect rooms to meet high resort standards.
• Report damages to rooms and maintain inventory of supplies.
• Respond to guest requests with professionalism.
• Cross-train in food service areas when needed.

Job Summary:

Housekeeping Rangers are an essential piece to our puzzle and make it possible for campers to have an unforgettable experience! At Binghamton Jellystone Park™, you will be responsible for taking care of the campground in every way! From maintaining our comfort stations (bath/shower houses), lodging cleaning/housekeeping, and more, our housekeepers keep the campground running in tip-top shape! This job is perfect for someone who likes plugging in their headphones and getting the job done, one step on a checklist at a time! We can’t create wow moments without you! We strive to provide a clean, fun, and safe environment for our guests. We strive to provide an stress-free, fun, and one-of-a-kind vacation for all of our guests. You may also be asked to help with a variety of other tasks and even departments some days! At Binghamton Jellystone Park™, we are a team and help in all other aspects of camp. We will specifically cross-train you, and you may step into another role, including working in our food service locations when needed.

We are looking for crew members who will go above and beyond for our campers, have an energetic and friendly demeanor, and a can-do attitude! We are memory-makers and WOW moment creators! This is a seasonal position that is open April to early November.

Responsibilities:

• Perform various cleaning activities including sweeping, mopping, dusting, etc.
• Inspect all rooms and ensure they meet the resort’s high standards
• Report any damages to the rooms
• Respond to requests and/or guest complaints with professionalism and patience
• Maintain adequate inventory of supplies and consumables and restock when necessary
• Strictly adhere to health and safety rules and regulations
• Cross-train in food service locations and assist in those areas when needed
