Job summary

Amber Court of Smithtown is seeking dedicated housekeepers to support our Assisted Living team. The role runs Sunday through Thursday, 8:00am–4:30pm, with a pay rate of $17.00/hour.

You will be responsible for cleaning resident apartments thoroughly each week, with lighter cleaning daily to maintain a safe and welcoming environment. Responsibilities include ensuring cleanliness, safety, and infection-control standards while using cleaning procedures and equipment properly.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping in care facility preferred.
• Ability to follow safety and infection control guidelines.
• Willingness to perform light daily cleaning.

Responsibilities:

• The prospective Candidate will be responsible for assigned resident apartments to be Cleaned thoroughly weekly, with light cleaning daily.

• Responsible for cleanliness, general appearance, safety and prevention of cross contamination as it pertains to infection control.

• Should have working knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment and products.

Working Conditions:

• Requires frequent bending, reaching, and stooping when cleaning rooms.

• Must be able to lift, push, or the housekeeping cart weighing up to 10 pounds.
