Job summary

Smithtown Center is seeking a Per-Diem housekeeping and laundry aide. Shifts are scheduled as needed, including weekends and holidays, with a requirement to work at least one shift every 30 days.

Responsibilities include cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas; sanitizing surfaces; changing linens; laundry operations; restocking supplies; reporting maintenance issues; and interacting with residents to address their needs.

Qualifications

• Per-Diem housekeeping/laundry role with shifts as needed, including weekends and holidays.
• Must work at least 1 shift within 30 days.

• Disinfecting surfaces, particularly in bathrooms and high-touch areas.
• Changing bed linens and replenishing towels and amenities.
• Sorting, washing, and folding laundry.
• Maintaining adequate supplies of cleaning products, toiletries, and other necessary items.
• Reporting any maintenance issues or damage to management.
• Following established cleaning procedures and safety protocols.
• May interact with residents to address their needs or concerns.

Days to work will be as needed which include weekends, holiday and cover to shift when needed, but must work at least 1 shift within 30 days. Could have opportunity to work multiple days during the month.
