Job summary

Greentree at Mount Vernon is seeking a part-time Housekeeper for weekend shifts in Mount Vernon, IL. The role involves maintaining clean, sanitary, safe living spaces for residents and supporting the community with timely cleaning, scheduling adherence, and safety protocols.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Clean residents' apartments and common areas.
• Follow a cleaning schedule and instructions.
• Adhere to infection control, food-borne illness prevention, chemical handling, fire and safety procedures.
• Submit maintenance work orders to the Maintenance Director.
• Report unsafe/hazardous conditions within the community.

What You’ll Do

The Housekeeper maintains assigned areas in a clean, sanitary, safe, orderly, and attractive manner per established procedures and as directed by the supervisor; ensures that the highest degree of cleanliness and sanitation is always maintained.

As a Housekeeper, you can expect a range of responsibilities and tasks. Here are some general expectations:

• You will provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.

• You will provide cleaning services inside residents' apartments and common areas.
• You will follow a cleaning schedule and instructions.
• You will adhere to procedures regarding infection control, food-borne illness prevention, harmful chemical handling, fire, safety, and sanitation.
• You will submit maintenance work orders to the Maintenance Director.
• You will report any unsafe/hazardous conditions within the community.
