Job summary

Planned Companies is hiring janitors and custodians to provide cleaning services for residential and commercial properties in Mount Laurel, NJ. You will ensure a clean, safe, and healthy environment for tenants, guests, and vendors, while maintaining a polite and thorough approach.

Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 6pm-9:30pm; Location: Mount Laurel, NJ; Pay: $16.25 per hour. Full-time eligibility for medical, dental, vision and other benefits, plus 401K with employer match.

Qualifications

• Willingness to stand for extended periods.
• Experience using cleaning products and equipment to clean floors and carpets.
• Ability to work in a team as well as independently when needed.
• Strong report writing and clear verbal communication skills.
• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors of various types.
• Dusting and polishing surfaces throughout the building including countertops, furniture, and fixtures.
• Scrubbing and sanitizing bathroom toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures.
• Emptying trash cans and washing/drying windows.
• Requesting cleaning supply orders, reporting breakages, and needed repairs.

Summary

Residential and commercial property owners, now more than ever, realize how big a role Janitors play in protecting the health of tenants, guests, and vendors. So, Planned Companies Building Services (PBS) is looking to hire friendly and detail-oriented Janitors and Custodians to provide common area and bathroom cleaning services.

You’ll be ensuring tenants, guests and vendors have a clean, healthy, and safe property to live or work in. It’s important to be polite and respectful as well as thorough and observant of what more can be done to provide the highest level of service.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors of various types.
• Dusting and polishing surfaces throughout the building that include but are not limited to countertops, upholstered furniture, and light fixtures.
• Scrubbing and sanitizing bathroom toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures.
• Emptying trash cans as well as washing and drying windows.
• Requesting cleaning supply orders, reporting breakages, and needed repairs.

Requirements:

• Willing to stand on your feet for extended periods of time.
