Job summary

Planned Companies is seeking a housekeeper to perform routine cleaning of common areas and bathrooms at Morristown and Denville locations. This full-time role runs Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm, with an hourly wage of $18.50.

You will help maintain a clean, healthy environment for tenants, guests, and staff while working both collaboratively and independently. Candidates should be detail-oriented, able to stand for long periods, and comfortable following safety and reporting protocols.

Qualifications

• Willing to stand on your feet for extended periods.
• Experience in similar cleaning roles using cleaning products and equipment.
• Able to work on a team as well as independently.
• Strong report writing and clear verbal communication skills.
• A High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors of various types.
• Dusting and polishing surfaces throughout the building that include but are not limited to countertops, upholstered furniture, and light fixtures.
• Scrubbing and sanitizing bathroom toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures.
• Emptying trash cans as well as washing and drying windows.
• Requesting cleaning supply orders, reporting breakages, and needed repairs.

Summary

Residential and commercial property owners, now more than ever, realize how big a role Janitors play in protecting the health of tenants, guests, and vendors. So, Planned Companies Building Services (PBS) is looking to hire friendly and detail-oriented Janitors and Custodians to provide common area and bathroom cleaning services.

You’ll be ensuring tenants, guests and vendors have a clean, healthy, and safe property to live or work in. It’s important to be polite and respectful as well as thorough and observant of what more can be done to provide the highest level of service.

Primary Job Responsibilities
