A leading healthcare provider is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness in resident areas and common spaces. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities include cleaning, reporting safety issues, and ensuring a safe environment for residents. Join us in providing a clean and welcoming atmosphere for our residents.
Maintain all public and common areas throughout the day, including the lobby, restrooms, drinking fountains, and floors. Ensure the cleanliness of resident rooms and bathrooms. Maintain handrails to be clean and debris-free. Clean walls, mirrors, windows, light fixtures, towel bars, and dispensers by removing dust, dirt, or food.
Empty trash cans and replace liners. Sweep and mop floors. Use proper safety measures during cleaning, such as caution signage and keeping supplies and chemicals out of residents' reach. Operate supplies and equipment safely by following user manual instructions. Keep housekeeping carts, equipment, and storage areas clean, safe, and organized.
Report resident safety issues immediately to the Director of Housekeeping, Administrator, or Director of Nursing. Notify the Housekeeping Supervisor when supplies need replenishing. Demonstrate excellent customer service, maintain a positive attitude, and possess good time management skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Must occasionally lift/move up to 25 pounds. Regularly sit, kneel, stand, walk, talk, read, or hear. Use of office equipment and housekeeping supplies is required.
Typically low to moderate noise and odor levels. Reasonable accommodations available for disabilities.
