Job summary

The Grove Senior Living in Medford, OR is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain clean, safe living environments for residents in a senior living community.

You will provide cleaning services in residents' apartments and common areas, follow established schedules, and ensure high standards of sanitation while delivering friendly, respectful service to residents and team members.

Responsibilities

• Maintain assigned areas in a clean, sanitary, safe, orderly, and attractive manner per procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Clean residents' apartments and common areas.
• Follow a cleaning schedule and instructions.
• Adhere to infection control, food-borne illness prevention, chemical handling, fire/safety, and sanitation.
• Submit maintenance work orders to the Maintenance Director.
• Report unsafe or hazardous conditions within the community.

What You’ll Do

The Housekeeper maintains assigned areas in a clean, sanitary, safe, orderly, and attractive manner per established procedures and as directed by the supervisor; ensures that the highest degree of cleanliness and sanitation is always maintained.

As a Housekeeper, you can expect a range of responsibilities and tasks. Here are some general expectations:

• You will provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.

• You will provide cleaning services inside residents' apartments and common areas.
• You will follow a cleaning schedule and instructions.
• You will adhere to procedures regarding infection control, food-borne illness prevention, harmful chemical handling, fire, safety, and sanitation.
• You will submit maintenance work orders to the Maintenance Director.
• You will report any unsafe/hazardous conditions within the community.
