Oakmont Management Group’s Ivy Park at Los Gatos is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain resident apartments, public areas, and laundry services, supporting a safe, welcoming environment for seniors. The role requires a compassionate, detail-oriented approach and a commitment to safety and resident well‑being.

Candidates should be at least 18, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to pass background checks and health screenings.

Qualifications

• Prefer prior housekeeping or janitorial experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• May require vaccination, daily screening, surveillance testing, and PPE per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Clean all resident apartments, as directed.
• Clean all public areas, common areas, and work areas as directed.
• Complete community and resident laundry and ironing, as assigned.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.

The Housekeeper

is responsible for cleaning all resident apartments, public areas, common areas, and work areas and doing laundry for both the residents and the community in a friendly, courteous manner, in accordance with the company’s mission, vision, and values.
