Job summary

Oakmont Management Group in California is hiring a Housekeeper to clean resident apartments, public and common areas, and perform community laundry in a friendly, courteous manner.

Prefer prior housekeeping or janitorial experience; must be 18+, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and pass background/health screenings. Vaccination and PPE may be required per regulatory guidelines; OMG is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Prefer prior housekeeping or janitorial experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other PPE to prevent the spread of COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Clean all resident apartments, as directed.
• Clean all public areas, common areas, and work areas as directed.
• Complete community and resident laundry and ironing, as assigned.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
