Morningside Elite Management is hiring Housekeepers for Morningside House of Laurel in Laurel, MD. We offer full-time, part-time or per diem roles to join a supportive team caring for residents in an assisted living community.

Key duties include cleaning apartments, hallways and common areas; preparing units for move-ins; maintaining safety and cleanliness; and attending required trainings. We provide competitive pay, attendance and referral bonuses, 401K match, PTO, health and other insurance,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs general cleaning assignments in apartments, hallways and common areas.
• Prepares apartments for move-in as assigned.
• Housekeeper participates in annual cleaning schedules.
• Utilizes cleaning chemicals properly and safely in accordance with department guidelines.
• Informs supervisor of any pertinent resident issues or concerns.
• Keeps housekeeping carts and vacuums clean and in good working order.
• Attends all required training, in-service, and staff meetings.
• Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.

Housekeeper - Responsibilities:

• Housekeeper maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers.
• Adheres to all policies and procedures of Morningside Elite Management.
• Housekeeper performs other duties as assigned.

Housekeeper - Requirements:

• High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
