Job summary

ComForCare in Lansdale, PA seeks a caring Housekeeper to support seniors living independently in their homes. The role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for older adults who may need extra help with daily household tasks.

You will perform light housekeeping, assist with simple meal prep, and provide companionship while adhering to client care plans and agency policies. This position emphasizes dependable, patient care in a family‑oriented setting.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping or caregiving experience preferred (not required)
• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical household tasks
• Must pass background check

Responsibilities

• Light housekeeping including: Dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming
• Cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
• Laundry, folding, and changing linens
• Organizing living spaces
• Assist with meal prep (simple meals) if needed
• Maintain a safe, clutter‑free environment
• Report any changes in client condition or home safety concerns
• Provide friendly companionship and conversation
• Follow all agency policies and client care plans
