Alvarado Parkway Institute (API) is a psychiatric hospital in La Mesa, California, offering inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services. We are committed to improving mental health and well-being in our community. Our services include Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient programs focused on symptom management, community integration, and prevention of hospitalization.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Full-Time Housekeeper to join our team. The Housekeeper maintains the sterility, sanitation, and safety of patient rooms, work areas, hallways, and offices. Responsibilities include removing debris, disinfecting surfaces, laundering linens, and ensuring the hospital environment is safe and sterile. This role is vital in preventing illness and infection.

Shift and Application

• This position is for the PM Shift: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM. Must be available to work weekends.

Responsibilities

Physical Requirements

Frequent talking, hearing, standing, walking, handling, reaching, and physical activities including outdoor games. Ability to push/pull up to 20 lbs. Participate in emergency situations without limitations.

Salary

$21.00 - $22.00 per hour
