Job summary

Vail Resorts in Keystone is seeking energetic hospitality teammates for winter seasonal housekeeping roles. Starting wage is $20 per hour with full-time hours during peak occupancy, housing available, and opportunities to grow through Epic Service training.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English and/or Spanish (written and verbal)
• Valid US Driver License and license history check
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Flexible schedule including holidays and weekends
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
• Experience with cleaning chemicals or basic tools is a plus

Responsibilities

• Support Hospitality Attendants by stocking supplies and removing soiled linens
• Keep housekeeping closets clean and organized
• Transport housekeeping staff around the resort
• Assemble and deliver linen orders to housekeepers
• Assist with daily unit stripping and general room cleaning
• Maintain inventory levels and report supply needs
• Report maintenance problems to Area Supervisor
• Complete timesheets daily and keep employee areas tidy

Job Specifications:

• Starting Wage: $20/hr.

Job Responsibilities (Included But Not Limited To):

• Support Hospitality Attendants by keeping all supplies stocked and organized, removal of soiled linens and commons area trash
• Keep all Housekeeping closets cleaned and organized
• Keep office breakroom clean and organized
• Transport housekeeping staff around the resort
• Assemble and deliver linen orders to housekeepers
• Responsible for repair and maintenance of vacuum cleaners
• Help maintain inventory levels and informing Managers of supply needs for housekeeping and furnishing closets
• Daily stripping of units
• Assisting room attendants with general cleaning of guest rooms
• Assisting Guest and Owners in any manner
• Maintains a friendly and courteous demeanor at all times
• Complete timesheet accurately, and turn in to an Area Supervisor daily
• Help in keeping all employee areas neat and clean (kit room, break room, linen closets etc.)
• Support environmental and recycling programs
• Reporting any damage, theft or lost and found to an Area Supervisor
• Report all maintenance problems to an Area Supervisor
• Hours and shifts can vary and be flexible, due to occupancy levels
• Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

• Able to communicate effectively in English and or Spanish, both written and verbal - preferred
• Previous guest service experience - preferred
• A valid US Driver License – MUST HAVE and must pass a license history check
• High school diploma or equivalent - preferred
• A flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends - required
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and to stand for long periods of time in excess of six hours without sitting - required
• Must be able to use cleaning chemicals, small engine machines, and basic hand tools

The expected pay range is$20/hr.. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
