Job summary

Westminster Communities of Florida is seeking a full-time Housekeeper to clean residences, Health Center rooms, and residential common areas. Duties include sanitizing Health Center rooms, maintaining dining areas, and daily cleaning tasks. Prior experience in a healthcare setting is desirable.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, with up to one month of related experience; six months in a healthcare setting is preferred. Benefits are offered as part of the package.

Responsibilities

• Cleans residential units, resident’s rooms and common areas (including stairwells) of assigned work areas.
• Responsible for sanitizing Health Center rooms after a move-out or prior to a move-in.
• Send or bring Protector to the laundry area after being used by residents during each meal.
• Maintain dining areas cleaned and sanitized (at least twice daily).
• Cleaning, dusting, sanitizing, sweeping, mopping and vacuuming daily of assigned work areas.
• Garbage removal including biohazards removal from the assigned areas.
• Cleaning duties/functions as contracted by independent residents.

Comply with all applicable rules, policies, standards and guidelines related to employment with Westminster and its communities.

1. Cleans residential units, resident’s rooms and common areas (including stairwells) of assigned work areas.
