Full-time Housekeeper needed for our growing team. Day shift available.

Position Summary

The Housekeeper delivers services with a hospitality focus in accordance with all laws, regulations, and Century Park standards. Reports to the Housekeeping and Laundry Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior healthcare experience preferred.

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned areas within prescribed time using proper cleaning products, including occupied and vacant units, patios, decks, common areas, offices, lobbies, elevators, lounges, restrooms, laundry rooms, and dining areas.
• Vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, cleaning windows/glass at high and low levels, sanitizing, and polishing/conditioning wood surfaces.
• Stocks cleaning carts appropriately and notifies supervisor of low supplies.
• Properly stores equipment, tools, and supplies.
• Advises supervisors of bulb replacement needs.
• Reports repairs, mechanical issues, or equipment needs to the supervisor.
• Reports any questionable resident behaviors or unacceptable conditions to the supervisor.
• Reports resident concerns or complaints to the supervisor.

• Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, enthusiasm, and willingness to handle difficult residents.
• Ability to make independent decisions when necessary.
• Perform efficiently and effectively with minimal supervision.
• Maintain professional relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.
• Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and confidential information.
• Display integrity and professionalism by adhering to Century Park’s Code of Ethics and completing all required compliance training.
