Ellen Memorial Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center LLC in the United States seeks a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a sanitary, comfortable, and safe environment for residents and provide clean linens in a sanitary and efficient manner.

You will perform routine housekeeping tasks, support infection control practices, and assist with project cleaning such as cleaning furniture, floors, walls, windows, and stripping and waxing floors on occasion; shifts available.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation standards.
• Understanding of basic infection control practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine housekeeping services to maintain sanitary, clean, and safe resident environments.
• Assist with projects such as cleaning furniture, wheels, stripping and waxing floors, and general maintenance tasks as requested.

Job description

As a Housekeeper, you are responsible for providing a sanitary, comfortable, and safe environment for the residents in the facility and providing clean linens in a sanitary and efficient manner. You are responsible to maintain good housekeeping practices, practice good infection control, and help prevent the development and spread of infections.

General Duties and Responsibilities Include: Perform routine housekeeping services, which includes the cleaning of furniture, equipment, floors, walls, windows, toilets, mirrors, sinks, beds, etc.; perform project cleaning as requested, which includes wheelchairs and stripping and waxing floors.
