Job summary

POINT LOOKOUT NURSING & REHAB in Hollister, MO is seeking a dependable housekeeper to join our team. You will clean resident rooms and common areas, maintain cleanliness and safety, and learn to operate commercial laundry equipment. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work well in a team with a flexible schedule.

Preferred candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of healthcare or commercial housekeeping or laundry experience. Training provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Reliable and able to follow a schedule.
• May need to work a varied schedule.
• Healthcare or Commercial Laundry: 1 year (Preferred)
• Healthcare or Commercial Housekeeping: 1 year (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Must be experienced at cleaning with a keen eye for details.
• Perform housekeeping duties in Resident rooms.
• Responsible for cleaning common areas of the facility.
• Maintains a high level of cleanliness & safety throughout designated areas.
• Ensure that all equipment is clean and in working condition at all times.
• Removal of trash & soiled linens. Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds.

• Solid work ethic, with initiative for quality and customer service.
• Ability to learn how to operate commercial laundry equipment.
