Job summary

Cascade Living in Hemet, CA seeks a part-time Housekeeper to keep Desert Hills Memory Care rooms and common areas clean, safe, and inviting. The role requires comfort with residents, strong reliability, and the ability to work 10:30am–6:30pm on Wed, Thu, Sat and Sun, with weekend availability.

Experience in hotels or upscale senior living is preferred; we value compassionate service, punctuality, and teamwork across shifts. Competitive wages and solid benefits accompany the position.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned resident apartments and common areas daily (dust, mop, sanitize).
• Launders and folds laundry, distributes clean linens, and maintains cleaning cart stock.
• Manage multiple priorities and stay organized throughout shifts.
• Work as part of a team and support community goals.
• Promote Cascade Living’s mission, values and beliefs.

As a Housekeeper you’ll interact and engage with residents while in their apartments and throughout the community. You play a key role in creating a well-maintained atmosphere of dignity and respect for our residents and guests by ensuring apartments and common areas are clean, safe, and inviting.

• Preferred experience at hotels, country clubs or other similar high-end senior living communities
• Desire to work with seniors
• Compassionate individuals who will represent our community in a positive and professional manner
• Reliable transportation and dependable when it comes to showing up on time
• Sufficient mobility and strength to move freely through the building and to assist transfer or otherwise move residents of facility
• Ability to work independently and as a contributing team member
• Ownership attitude who is able to stay focused despite interruptions throughout the day
• Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to detect odors and see spots and spills
• Ability to work flexible hours

What you can expect to do as a Housekeeper for Desert Hills:

• Manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Make a significant contribution to the quality of life our residents by maintaining the highest possible quality and consistency
• Cleans (dust, dry mop, wet mop, sanitize, scrub) assigned resident apartments and common areas daily
• Washes and folds laundry, distributes clean linens and towels and maintains a stocked cleaning cart
• Demonstrate organizational skills around time management
• Actively participates as a member of a team and committed to working toward team goals
• Promote the mission, values and beliefs of Cascade Living

$16.90 - $18.90/hour
*Depending on experience
