Anchor Care and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Aide to join our team in Hazlet, New Jersey. You will help create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff, contributing to their comfort and well-being.

The role is Part-Time, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, with a pay rate of $16.32 per hour. Experience in healthcare is preferred, and familiarity with PPE and cleaning protocols is important for this position.

Qualifications

Anchor Care and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Aide to join our team. In this role, you’ll help create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and staff. Your work will have a direct impact on the comfort and well-being of those we serve.

Key Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, scrub, and dust floors.

• Clean and sanitize toilets, basins, resident beds, and furniture.

• Vacuum and dust equipment, computers, and phones.

• Maintain cleanliness in resident rooms, nurses' stations, visitor bathrooms, and nourishment/medication refrigerators under nursing supervision.

• Empty wastebaskets regularly and restock rooms with necessary supplies.

• Perform high-dusting, special cleaning projects, and assist in preparations for regulatory audits.

• Report repair needs promptly and follow safety and dress code policies.

• Assist with orienting new staff and take part in performance improvement activities.

• Respond to pages and perform emergency duties as needed to support resident welfare and facility operations.

Qualifications

• Experience: At least 2 years in the healthcare field; nursing home experience strongly preferred.

• Skills: Knowledge of cleaning equipment, supplies, and proper use of PPE.
