Job summary

Eskaton is seeking a Housekeeper in Grass Valley, CA to clean residents’ units, living centers, and community areas to the highest standards. You’ll maintain cleanliness across the community, stock carts, and ensure safety and infection control practices are followed.

The role is primarily scheduled for AM shifts (7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.). Starting pay ranges from $18.50 to $22.10 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package and a focus on mutual respect and belonging.

Qualifications

• High school education or vocational training preferred.
• Experience in housekeeping activities and use/maintenance of equipment.
• Basic infection control knowledge and chemical handling.
• Passing post-offer background check, drug test, TB and health screen.

Position Summary

The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning the residents' units, living centers, the community areas, staff lounges, and all common areas within the community. The Housekeeper is responsible for providing highest standards of cleanliness and quality on the community.

Essential Job Functions

• Provides daily cleaning of assigned resident units, assisted living center, community center and other common areas.
• Responsible for the care of all equipment on housekeeping cart.
• Stocks housekeeping cart at end of shift.
• Stocks housekeeping closets.
• Possesses a basic understanding of infection control.
• Possesses a basic knowledge of chemical usage.

Compensation & Schedule

Starting pay ranges from $18.50 - $22.10 per hour. Factors such as scope, responsibilities, experience, education, job-related skills, internal equity, and market considerations may influence base pay.

This position will be primarily scheduled for AM shifts (7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.).

Qualifications

Education:

• Experience in housekeeping activities; use and maintenance of equipment.

• Experience in housekeeping activities and use of supplies preferred.

Additional Requirements

The final candidate must successfully pass Eskaton's post offer, pre-employment testing which includes a criminal background check, drug test, TB screen test and health screen.
