Job summary

River Crest Country Club in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a part-time Custodian/Housekeeper for Saturday and Sunday, late day/evening shifts, roughly 2pm–10pm with some flexibility. Pay ranges from $14.50 to $16.50 per hour based on experience, and the position adds an over-market wage and meals in the Staff Dining Room.

The role cleans all club areas, reports maintenance issues, and maintains a neat, courteous presence toward members and staff.

• Must present a neat and clean personal appearance
• Must have timely, reliable attendance
• Must have a professional, courteous & respectful attitude toward members, guests, vendors, co-workers and supervisors
• A high school education or equivalent is required

Responsibilities

• Cleans indoor furniture to include, but not limited to: Dusting, Disinfecting telephones, Polishing brass and silver
• Cleans bathrooms to include, but not limited to: Toilets, Sinks and counters, Showers, Mirrors
• Cleans floors and carpets to include, but not limited to: Vacuuming, Mopping
• Sweeps patio area(s) and employee entrance hallway
• Empties wastebaskets throughout the Club
• Reports maintenance problems to the Building Maintenance or Housekeeping departments, including, but not limited to: Property damage, Burned out light bulbs, Plumbing problems
• Complete other duties as assigned or directed.
• Determines when damage and maintenance issues need to be reported to department heads; and prioritizes work areas to be completed.

Ideally the hours would be 2pm – 10+pm with some flexibility on starting time. The pay range for this position is $14.50 - $16.50 per hour based on verifiable experience.

Located five miles from downtown Fort Worth, River Crest is Fort Worth’s oldest and most storied country club.

River Crest offers an over-market wage as well as a great work environment. Part time employees may be offered participation in our 401(k) plan after 1 year if they are over age 18 and have worked over 1,000 hours. All employees enjoy Chef-inspired meals in our Staff Dining Room.

JOB SUMMARY

The Custodian/Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning all Club areas and reporting any damage or maintenance problems to the Building Maintenance or Housekeeping Departments.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach
• Must be able to work with cleaning supplies and chemicals.
• Use of hands and arms to handle, position, move materials, and manipulate things.
• Ability to push, pull or lift up to 50 lbs
