The primary purpose of this position is to perform the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing our facility, as directed by the Administrator and/or the Director of Environmental Services. This ensures our facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to speak and write English clearly
• Ability to cope with mental and emotional stress
• Sensory abilities or prosthetics to meet sensory requirements
• Ability to work independently, flexibly, with integrity, and effectively with others
• Meet health requirements including a medical and physical exam
• Ability to operate hydraulic chairs, wheelchairs, hair dryers, curling irons, hampers, and similar equipment
• Ability to push, pull, move, and lift at least 50 pounds, and carry such weight for at least 50 feet
• Assist in emergency evacuations if necessary
