Job summary

Asbury is seeking a dedicated housekeeping assistant to maintain resident apartments, bathrooms, and common areas, coordinating with nursing staff as needed.

The role is full-time, 80 hours bi-weekly, with hours Tuesday through Saturday, 6:30AM–3:00PM. Compensation is $15.50 per hour, with potential shift differential depending on schedule. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401K, PTO, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Healthcare experience preferred, but not required.
• Successful candidate must be 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provides housekeeping services in resident apartments, bathrooms, common areas and other areas as directed.
• Removes dirt, dust, grease, film, etc., from surfaces using proper cleaning/disinfecting solutions.
• Ensures that work/cleaning schedules are followed as closely as practical and that equipment, tools, supplies, etc., are properly stored at all times.
• Coordinates daily housekeeping services with nursing services when performing routine cleaning assignments in resident living and/or recreational areas.
• Performs isolation cleaning procedures in accordance with established infection control procedures. Discards infectious wastes into appropriate containers.
