Job summary

The Grove of Elmhurst is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our skilled nursing facility. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, following infection control standards and using approved cleaning products and equipment.

Located in Elmhurst, IL, this role offers day and evening shifts with competitive wages and benefits. Previous SNF housekeeping is preferred, and the right candidate will join a caring team dedicated to resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Minimum eleventh grade education; prior housekeeping in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting preferred.
• Maintain cleanliness and infection control standards; use housekeeping tools, chemicals and equipment according to policies.

As a Housekeeper you are instrumental in maintaining the cleanliness and infection control standards of our resident’s environment. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at The Grove Elmhurst by cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the facility and operating housekeeping related tools, chemicals and equipment. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure a clean and safe environment.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an eleventh (11th) grade education. Prior Housekeeping experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
