Job summary

New Perspective is seeking a Housekeeper to join our Elm Tree Corners community. You will work throughout the campus and laundry areas to maintain a clean, safe, and inviting environment for residents who want to stay active and engaged.

Responsibilities include cleaning, sanitizing, and organizing spaces, assisting with basic cleaning tasks, and supporting a homelike atmosphere. We offer training, benefits, and opportunities for growth within the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency is required.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks.
• Ability to make decisions and act in residents' best interest.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and polish floors; sanitize areas; vacuum carpets; clean restrooms; wash windows and walls; move and arrange furniture.
• Coordinate with other staff to maintain a clean and sanitary environment for residents and team members.
• Stock common areas, replace light bulbs, tidy throughout the day, and remove trip hazards.
• Adhere to safety program including handling and storage of chemicals and equipment.
• Follow written and oral directions, and deliver hospitality to residents, families, and visitors.
• Contribute to an attractive home environment that supports engagement and socialization.

• 8:00am - 4:30pm
• Rotating Weekends and Holidays

Responsibilities

• Able to sweep, mop, and polish floors; sanitize areas, vacuum carpets; clean restrooms; wash windows and walls; move and arrange furniture and equipment; and pick up outside garbage.
• Works in cooperation with all other team members of the facility to maintain a clean and sanitary environment for both residents and team members.
• Stocks common areas, replaces light bulbs, tidies throughout the day, and eliminates trip hazards.
• Adheres to community's safety program at all times including handling and storage of chemicals and equipment.
• Understands and carries out oral and written directions.
• Champions hospitality and delivers excellent customer service to residents, families, visitors, and vendors.
• Ensures an attractive home environment that fosters engagement, socialization and purposeful living.
