Job summary

Fairview Health Services seeks a Housekeeper to support residents at Aurora on France TCU in Edina, MN. The role performs housekeeping duties in accordance with the assignment sheet and helps maintain clean resident rooms and public areas.

The schedule is 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Tuesday through Friday with every other weekend and holiday rotation, totaling 48 hours over two weeks. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, PTO, tuition reimbursement, and retirement

Qualifications

• Required: less than 1 year of housekeeping experience.
• Preferred: 1 year of housekeeping experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs housekeeping duties: vacuums, changes water bucket or mop head, uses wet floor signs, maintains housekeeping cart and closet, replenishes supplies, cleans tile/walls/windows, ensures chemicals are locked up.
• Cleans public areas, resident rooms, and restrooms: cleans drinking fountains, replenishes supplies, vacuums carpets, empties and washes waste baskets, assists with spills, maintains linen carts, wears gloves, assists with grounds cleanup.
• Performs other duties as assigned such as room changes, cleaning wheel chairs, assisting with special events.
• Complies with all policies and standards.

Job Overview

Ebenezer is seeking a Housekeeper to support our residents at Aurora on France TCU in Edina, MN! This position performs all housekeeping duties consistent with the assignment sheet.

Aurora on Franceis a new, innovative senior community attached to Fairview Southdale Hospital in the heart of Edina, MN. Located conveniently near Hwy. 62 and France Ave. and is on a bus line. Aurora has 136 units offering a full continuum of care including Transitional Care, Enhanced Care and Assisted Living/Memory Care. The schedule includes;

• 48 hours in two weeks
• Day shift; 8AM - 4:30PM
• Tuesday - Friday with an every other weekend and holiday rotation

Responsibilities

• Performs housekeeping duties:
  • Vacuums
  • Changes water bucket or mop head as trained
  • Uses wet floor signs
  • Maintains housekeeping cart and closet
  • Replenishes supplies – soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
  • Cleans tile/walls, windows, and glass doors
  • Ensures chemicals are locked up
• Cleans public areas, resident rooms, and restrooms:
  • Cleans drinking fountains with disinfectant
  • Replenishes supplies – soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
  • Vacuums carpets
  • Empties and washes waste baskets with disinfectant when needed
  • Assists with emergency spills as needed
  • Maintains clean linen carts
  • Wears gloves at all times
  • Assists with grounds cleanup when requested
• Performs other duties as assigned. This may include but is not limited to:
  • Room changes
  • Cleaning wheel chairs
  • Assisting with special events
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Complies with all policies and standards
