Job summary

Daly Seven in Duncan, SC seeks a Room Attendant/Housekeeper to maintain clean, welcoming guest spaces and hallways. You will greet guests warmly and ensure rooms meet our high standards of comfort and safety.

Responsibilities include cleaning assigned rooms, checking furniture and equipment, and reporting deficiencies. You will keep storage areas neat, manage linen and lost-and-found items, and stay on schedule with a professional appearance and attitude.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred.
• Must be able to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Good time management and organization skills.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds, bend, stoop, and climb stairs.

Responsibilities

• Clean all assigned guest rooms and common areas to high standards.
• Speak to guests with courtesy and a friendly smile.
• Perform daily checks of furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Report deficiencies to the manager.
• Mark cleaned rooms on housekeeping sheet and notify front desk when ready.
• Complete missing linen reports and manage lost and found items.
• Restock and secure storage closets and keep cart organized.
• Securely maintain room keys and report maintenance issues promptly.

Report deficiencies to the manager.Master the LogisticsMark each cleaned room on your housekeeping sheet and notify the front desk immediately when a room is ready.Complete missing linen reports for every room and promptly turn in all lost and found items.Maintain neat, locked storage closets and ensure your housekeeping cart is restocked, trash is emptied, and vacuums are cleared at the end of every shift.Arrive on time, in the appropriate uniform with your name tag, and obtain your work schedule promptly.Ensure Safety & SecurityAct as a vital part of the hotel security team by remaining alert for potential hazards and promptly reporting them to the manager.Maintain strict control of room keys at all times, keeping them securely in your smock and never leaving them on a cart.Keep all business information strictly confidential, both while on duty and off duty.Report all maintenance problems directly to the manager to ensure guest comfort.Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred.Attention to detail.Time management.Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, bend, stoop, and regularly go up and down stairs.
