Job summary

Daly Seven is seeking a diligent Room Attendant / Housekeeper to uphold our guest experience. You will clean rooms and common areas to exacting standards, greet guests warmly, and help maintain a safe, organized environment.

Ideal candidates have prior housekeeping experience and are detail-oriented, with strong time management. This role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 25 pounds, and a commitment to guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean all assigned guest rooms and common areas to high standards.
• Speak to guests with courtesy and a friendly smile.
• Perform daily checks of furniture, fixtures, and equipment; report deficiencies.
• Mark cleaned rooms on housekeeping sheet and notify front desk when ready.
• Complete missing linen reports and turn in lost and found items.
• Keep storage closets neat; restock cart; empty trash; vacuum cleanup at end of shift.
• Arrive on time in uniform with name tag and review schedule promptly.
• Assist with security by remaining alert to hazards and reporting them.
• Keep room keys secure and confidential; report maintenance problems to manager.

Report deficiencies to the manager.Master the LogisticsMark each cleaned room on your housekeeping sheet and notify the front desk immediately when a room is ready.Complete missing linen reports for every room and promptly turn in all lost and found items.Maintain neat, locked storage closets and ensure your housekeeping cart is restocked, trash is emptied, and vacuums are cleared at the end of every shift.Arrive on time, in the appropriate uniform with your name tag, and obtain your work schedule promptly.Ensure Safety & SecurityAct as a vital part of the hotel security team by remaining alert for potential hazards and promptly reporting them to the manager.Maintain strict control of room keys at all times, keeping them securely in your smock and never leaving them on a cart.Keep all business information strictly confidential, both while on duty and off duty.Report all maintenance problems directly to the manager to ensure guest comfort.Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred.Attention to detail.Time management.Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, bend, stoop, and regularly go up and down stairs.
