Chicago Behavioral Hospital is seeking a compassionate Housekeeper to join our care team in Des Plaines, Illinois. You will perform daily cleaning of patient rooms, offices, and public areas to maintain a safe, risk-aware environment in line with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• 1 year of housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and flexibility for overtime.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient rooms, offices, and public areas.
• Vacuum, dust, mop, sweep and take out the trash.
• Ensure adequate linens are stocked and available.
• Disinfect areas using approved cleaners.
• Refill supplies and keep supply closets clean and organized.
• Store cleaning equipment safely away from patient access.

Chicago Behavioral Hospital is seeking a compassionate Housekeeper to join our team.The Housekeeper provides completes daily housekeeping routines such as cleaning patient rooms, offices, and public areas while ensuring a safe and risk-preventative environment within The Joint Commission, CMS, State, and OSHA standards and regulations.Perform routine cleaning tasks of patient room, office and public areas.Vacuum, dust, mope, sweep, and take out the trash.Ensure that adequate linens are kept in the facility.Clean areas with disinfectants.Refill supplies (paper products, soap, etc.)Assures that supply closets are kept clean and orderly.Keep cleaning supplies and equipment safely stores when not in use and away from patients access when in use.Your Experience Matters What we’re looking for:Experience: Preferably one (1) year experience in housekeeping field.Additional Requirements: Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
