Job summary

Sunrise Community, Inc. is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to ensure the cleanliness and safety of homes and facilities serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The role emphasizes adherence to regulatory guidelines and accurate inventory management within a not-for-profit environment. The position requires a valid driver’s license with endorsements, a minimum of three years of driving experience, and successful completion of pre-employment screenings.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete pre-employment Background and Drug Screenings.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License with endorsements and have minimum 3 years of driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for housekeeping and grounds maintenance to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Keeps inventory of housekeeping items and restocks as needed.
• Reports to the directors regarding areas or items needing attention or repair.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Purpose:

To ensure the cleanliness and safety of the homes and facilities supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Qualifications:

• Must successfully complete the required pre-employment Background and Drug Screenings
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License with all necessary endorsements and have a minimum of 3 years of driving experience.
• Must possess High School Diploma or equivalent if required by work location.
• Experience as a housekeeper in a health care setting preferred

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for housekeeping and grounds maintenance to ensure cleanliness and safety at all times while following regulatory guidelines
• Keeps inventory of housekeeping items, restocks as needed minimizing waste within cost effective guidelines
• Reports to the directors regarding areas or items in need of additional attention or repair
• Performs all other duties as assigned

Hourly: $16.00
