Job summary

Regency Pacific Management is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain residents’ rooms and common areas in a care community. You will follow cleaning schedules, coordinate daily housekeeping with nursing services, and comply with sanitary and safety regulations.

The role requires weekend availability and a compassionate approach to assisting seniors. You will move linens and supplies, disinfect equipment, and ensure clean, welcoming spaces.

Responsibilities

• Maintain residents' rooms and common areas according to cleaning schedules.
• Coordinate daily housekeeping with nursing services.
• Adhere to sanitary and safety rules and regulations.
• Disinfect equipment and surfaces using germicides or steam sterilizers.
• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, corridors, elevators and wastebaskets.
• Relate and communicate with residents, families, community members, volunteers and other employees.

• Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents.
• Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies using wheeled carts to supply storage areas, keeping each tidy.
• Disinfect equipment and surfaces using germicides or steam-operated sterilizers.
• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and empty wastebaskets to meet health standards.
• Dust and polish furniture and equipment.
• Relate and communicate with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and other employees.
