Job summary

Quality Inn & Suites North Polaris, part of InnVite Hospitality Group, is seeking an experienced Head Housekeeper to lead the cleaning function of the hotel. You will work closely with management to achieve brand objectives and ensure top-quality guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, train, direct, and counsel housekeeping and laundry staff with GM.
• Plan and review work schedules for rooms, laundry & utilities based on occupancy.
• Supervise housekeeping and laundry staff and monitor times and labor.
• Train new employees in housekeeping and laundry.
• Perform daily room inspections and coordinate repairs with Maintenance/Front Desk/GM.
• Manage inventories for linen, supplies and restock as needed.
• Organize deep cleaning of guest rooms and supervise common areas cleanliness.
• Maintain daily housekeeping reports and ensure accurate system updates.
• Perform housekeeping duties as needed and ensure equipment is clean and functional.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and safety policies.

Quality Inn & Suites North Polaris "Part of InnVite Hospitality Group" is looking for experienced dynamic Head Housekeeper.This key position is responsible for the overall cleaning function in the hotel and to work closely to management to achieve company and brand objectives.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

1. Jointly with GM interviews, hires, trains, directs, and counsels housekeeping and laundry staff.
2. Plans and reviews work schedules with GM for rooms, laundry & utilities based on occupancy.
3. Supervises the work activities of Housekeeping and laundry associates.
4. Trains new employees in housekeeping & laundry.
5. Monitors the housekeeping & laundry times, standards and labor on daily basis.
6. Makes daily rooms' inspection of all rooms. Reports and follows-up items in need of repair to Maintenance, Front Desk and GM.
7. Makes accurate inventories for linen, terry, room supplies, cleaning supplies. Submits orders as needed to the GM.
8. Organizes deep cleaning for guest rooms.
9. Performs laundry and housekeeping duties as and when required.
10. Updates and keeps control on all daily housekeeping reports and communicated with Front Desk for accurate system update.
11. Supervises the common areas' cleaning making sure that the hotel is always in the best clean and hygienic condition.
12. Ensures that all Housekeeping carts are in clean and organized condition and restocked for the next day.
13. Ensures that the hotel equipment "vacuum cleaners" are always maintained in a clean and working condition.
14. Complies with the company and brand standards for rooms, laundry and common areas.
15. Complies with the company safety and security policies.
16. Performs other duties as assigned by management and/or designee.

Minimum requirements:

1. Successful recent work experience in hotels or a field related to this position.
2. Proven computer and communication skills.
3. Valid driving license.
4. Leadership and supervisory skills, able to lead by example.
5. Possesses basic math and budgeting skills.
6. Physical ability to perform housekeeping duties.
7. Professional business appearance.
8. Excellent guest contact skills.
9. Basic admin skills.
10. Required to demonstrate and practice minimum courtesy standards while interacting with colleagues and guests.
