Job summary

Landmark Hospital of Columbia is seeking a full-time and part-time housekeeper to join our dedicated and professional team in Columbia, MO. Our housekeepers ensure patient and staff areas remain clean and safe in accordance with OSHA and infection control guidelines.

Full-time shifts run 7-3 with 5 days per week and alternating weekends. Part-time shifts typically 7-3, 2-3 days per week, or weekends only. Background checks and drug testing are required.

Qualifications

• Hospital cleaning experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures.
• Must be a team player with strong attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must pass background check/drug test.

Responsibilities

• Cleans patients'/residents' rooms, common areas, ancillary areas, restrooms, locker rooms, halls, offices and any other areas that require attention.
• Cleans light fixtures, ceilings, vents, walls, mattresses, furniture, windows/window coverings floors and carpets.
• Cleans by dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sweeping, replenishes supplies, moves furniture, and hangs draperies.
• Outside trash pickup and leaf removal as needed.
• Strictly follows isolation, infection control, and safety procedures.
