Ahava Healthcare of Clarksville is seeking a compassionate Environmental Services Housekeeper to join our care team in Clarksville, Tennessee. Responsibilities include adherence to cleaning schedules, PPE compliance, and reporting equipment issues to the Environmental Services Director.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow daily and deep cleaning schedules.
• Maintain infection control policies and proper PPE usage.
• Operate and report any equipment defects to the Environmental Services Director.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Environmental Services Director/Administrator.
• Protect patient information and ensure confidentiality of PHI.

Environmental Services Housekeeper Position Summary

As an EVS Housekeeper at Ahava Healthcare of Clarksville, you'll be an essential part of our residents' care. Responsibilities include:

• Ensure the daily and deep cleaning schedules are adhered to.
• Maintain a high standard of personal presentation and hygiene and always adhere to infection control policies, using the correct PPE.
• Ensure all equipment is correctly and safely used and report any defects to the Environmental Services Director.
• Carries out other duties as assigned by the Environmental Services Director and/or Administrator.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous long-term care experience preferred
