Position: Part-time, weekdays with some weekends.

Purpose

Maintain assigned areas in a clean, sanitary, safe, orderly, and attractive manner, following established procedures and supervisor instructions, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written directions.
• Ability to remain calm under stress and make decisions.
• Effective communication skills with residents, families, staff, and officials.
• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Ability to work full or part-time on a regular schedule.
• Meet all state health requirements.
• Perform duties with or without reasonable accommodations.

Essential Functions

• Follow cleaning schedules and instructions.
• Clean resident rooms, offices, and public areas.
• Perform various cleaning tasks including sweeping, vacuuming, polishing, window cleaning, wall and ceiling cleaning, and waste disposal.
• Report maintenance issues and unsafe conditions.
• Assist with laundry and inventory management.
• Follow infection control policies.
• Attend trainings and meetings.
• Perform exterior cleaning as needed.
