Job summary

Morning Pointe Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to support residents in a caring, secure environment. The role focuses on daily housekeeping, linens, and maintaining clean, safe common areas while building relationships with residents and families.

We value reliability, a can-do attitude, and empathy for seniors. The position requires standing, lifting up to 50 lbs., and a High School diploma, with full-time hours Monday through Friday 8 AM–4 PM.

Qualifications

• A positive attitude with a willingness to help residents and teammates.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Basic math and verbal communication skills for daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform weekly housekeeping services for residents including changing linens and making beds.
• Vacuuming and mopping floors; kitchen and bathroom cleaning.
• Dusting, polishing, and keeping common areas clean and presentable.
• Learn resident cleaning preferences and maintain a respectful environment.
• Follow safety regulations and work as part of a team to support care needs.

Housekeepers are expected to accomplish tasks outside of their normal assignments whenever necessary to maintain a quality care environment for our residents. As part of a team-oriented workplace, Housekeepers participate in training opportunities and offer help to other areas and staff in need. The typical work of a Housekeeper can include:

1. Work with the Morning Pointe team to build relationships with residents and families
2. Perform weekly housekeeping services for residents including-
3. o Changing linens and making the bed
4. o Vacuuming and mopping of floors
5. o Kitchen and bathroom cleaning
6. o Dusting and polishing
7. Get to know the personal cleaning preferences of our residents
8. Keep common spaces clean and presentable
9. Remove waste from common areas regularly
10. Work safely by following regulations and procedures
