The Housekeeper at the Hampton Inn & Suites Steele Creek is primarily responsible for cleaning and preparing attractive guest rooms, hallways, and public areas in the hotel.

Essential Functions

1. Follow company and brand procedures in the cleaning and preparation of guest rooms.
2. Complete all pre-cleaning duties such as stocking guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart set-up.
3. Remove all trash and dirty linen from guest rooms.
4. Perform repetitive duties such as bed making and bathroom cleaning.
5. Replace bed linens and replenish guest room supplies.
6. Conduct deep cleaning activities as needed in conjunction with the maintenance department.
7. Interact with guests and team members in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
8. Maintain regular attendance as scheduled.
9. Maintain personal appearance and grooming standards.
10. Thoroughly clean and restock assigned guest rooms per shift.
11. Complete special requests from guests or other departments.
12. Report maintenance issues or lost and found items to supervisor or manager.
13. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

• Strong attention to detail.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
• Ability to work well under stress and in high-pressure situations.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, holidays, and weekends based on hotel demands.

• Must be 18 years or older.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in hotel cleaning or related fields.
