Job summary

The Madison on Marsh, a facility within Cantex Continuing Care Network in Carrollton, TX, is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Assistant to perform daily cleaning in patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.

Responsibilities include mopping, dusting, vacuuming, window washing, waste disposal, and reporting repairs. Prior institutional housekeeping and floor-care experience help; English fluency is required. We offer a robust benefits package and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in institutional housekeeping or maintenance.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Experience with floor-care equipment is helpful.
• Willingness to follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and sanitizes patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas daily.
• Uses proper chemicals in proper portions.
• Empties trash containers and replaces liners.
• Vacuums carpets as directed by Supervisor.
• Washes and dries windows.
• Reports repair needs to Supervisor or maintenance.
• Requests needed supplies and equipment from Supervisor.
• Identifies and corrects safety hazards and abides by safety rules.
• Attends weekly in-services and complies with policies.
• Responsible for patient/resident safety.

This position may mop, sweep, dust, wash windows, shampoo and vacuum carpets, arrange furniture, etc. and generally clean furniture, equipment, fixtures and hardware.Qualifications:Experience in institutional housekeeping or maintenance is helpful.Experience in the use of floor-care equipment is helpful.Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.Essential Functions:Cleans and sanitizes patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas on a daily basis and in accordance with Facility protocols.Uses proper chemicals in proper portions.
