Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills
• Effective communication skills in English with employees and residents
• Knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices
• Ability to retain up to four orders at a time
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Basic computer skills

Responsibilities

As a Housekeeper, your responsibilities include maintaining the Community interior, including residents’ apartments, in a clean and sanitary condition, in a courteous and friendly manner.

• Housekeeping Responsibilities
  • Perform general housekeeping for the Community and individual resident apartments, including vacuuming, dusting, cleaning entryways, common areas, dining rooms, hallways, patios, and apartments.
  • Clean and defrost refrigerators as needed, check heat system filters, change linens, and ensure linen supplies are adequate.
  • Deep clean apartments as necessary, focusing on carpets, plants, pictures, railings, windows, and light fixtures.
  • Wash and dry linens in provided laundry facilities.
  • Follow sanitation and safety procedures.
• Server Responsibilities
  • Greet residents and guests, serve beverages, cereals, soups, and salads from the cart.
  • Review the menu, take orders, and serve meals and desserts courteously and clearly.
  • Assist with storage of perishable items, deliver trays to resident rooms if needed.
  • Clear and reset tables after meals, following proper sanitizing procedures.
  • Complete side work such as replenishing supplies and cleaning equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Salary Range

The wage range for this position is $12.50/hr - $14.38/hr, depending on prior experience and work history.
