Summary/Objective: Provides daily housekeeping services to patients, ensuring a safe, clean, and sanitary environment in accordance with laws, regulations, and facility guidelines.

Hourly Rate: $15.50

Essential Functions:

• Provides daily housekeeping duties as assigned per Standard Operating Procedures.
• Follows daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules.
• Cleans floors, furnishings, fixtures, and public spaces throughout the facility.
• Removes trash, disinfects waste containers, and maintains cleanliness of restrooms and common areas.
• Operates cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Adheres to safety codes and facility policies.
• Participates in ongoing training and education programs.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Customer service oriented and professional.
• Knowledge of safety practices and resident rights.
• Basic knowledge of housekeeping/EVS skills.

Work Environment: Requires lifting up to 40 lbs, frequent bending, lifting, and moving throughout the shift. Works in various facility areas, dealing with odors, potential hazards, and exposure to infectious materials.

Physical Demands: Continuous standing and walking, operating cleaning equipment, and working with chemicals. Must be free from infectious diseases and able to lift 40 lbs.

Position Type/Hours: Full-time, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications:

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; housekeeping experience in healthcare is a plus.

• Effective communication skills.
• Manual dexterity and ability to work with cleaning agents.
• Flexible and patient.
