Job summary

The Amberleigh in Williamsville, NY is seeking a Housekeeper to support independent living, memory care, and assisted living communities. You will ensure clean, safe living spaces for our residents and assist with daily housekeeping duties, laundry, and related tasks in a compassionate environment.

Pay rate is $17.00/hour. This position offers a caring team, opportunity for training, and eligibility for benefits as described by location.

Qualifications

• Experience in a senior living or similar environment.
• Excellent customer service and care for senior residents.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Monitors inventory of chemicals, supplies and equipment needed for laundry and housekeeping tasks.
• Familiarizes self with cleaning schedules of Residents’ apartments and common areas to assure completion of housekeeping tasks.
• Performs housekeeping, janitorial tasks, and minor repairs as assigned.
• Assures that other janitorial and repair requests are properly logged and monitors their completion.
• Provides laundry services as needed and/or directed.
