Westminster Communities of Florida in Bradenton, FL is seeking experienced Housekeepers. The role includes cleaning residences, Health Center areas, and common spaces with attention to sanitation and safety.

The position offers an hourly wage based on experience, comprehensive benefits, and a supportive team in a beautiful waterfront retirement community near downtown Bradenton.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Up to one month related experience or training acceptable.
• Desirable experience with older adults in healthcare setting (preferably 6 months).

Responsibilities

• Cleans residences; apartments; Health Center rooms and bathrooms and residential common areas.
• Cleans residential units, resident’s rooms and common areas (including stairwells).
• Sanitizes Health Center rooms after move-out or before move-in.
• Maintains dining areas cleaned and sanitized (at least twice daily).
• Performs cleaning duties: dusting, sanitizing, sweeping, mopping and vacuuming daily.
• Removes garbage including biohazards from assigned areas (by contracted vendor).
• Cleans duties/functions as contracted by independent residents.

Job Summary

Cleans residences; apartments; Health Center rooms and bathrooms and residential common areas.

Essential Position Functions

• Cleans residential units, resident’s rooms and common areas (including stairwells) of assigned work areas.
• Responsible for sanitizing Health Center rooms after a move-out or prior to a move-in.
• Send or bring “protectors” to the laundry area after being used by residents during each meal.
• Maintain dining areas cleaned and sanitized (at least twice daily).
• Cleaning, dusting, sanitizing, sweeping, mopping and vacuuming daily of assigned work areas.
• Garbage removal including biohazards removal (by contracted vendor) from the assigned areas.
• Cleaning duties/functions as contracted by independent residents.

Essential Qualifications

• A high school education or equivalent and up to one month related experience or training.
• Must be willing to receive an annual influenza (flu) vaccination during flu season.
• Working with older adults in a healthcare setting is desirable, preferably a minimum of 6 months.
