Job summary

Westminster Oaks is a large upscale Life Plan Community and Health Center in Tallahassee seeking a full-time Housekeeper. The role cleans residences, apartments, Health Center rooms and common areas to maintain a safe, comfortable environment for residents and teams.

Essential duties include cleaning, sanitizing, and tidying assigned areas, supporting laundry with protectors, and upkeep of dining spaces. Flexible hours, competitive wages, health insurance, onsite fitness, PTO and more await the

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• Experience working with older adults in a healthcare setting is desirable, preferably 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Cleans residential units, resident’s rooms and common areas (including stairwells).
• Sanitizes Health Center rooms after a move-out or prior to a move-in.
• Send or bring protectors to the laundry area after meals.
• Maintain dining areas cleaned and sanitized (twice daily).
• Cleaning, dusting, sanitizing, sweeping, mopping and vacuuming daily.
• Garbage removal including biohazards removal (by contracted vendor).
• Cleaning duties as contracted by independent residents.

Westminster Oaks is a large upscale Life Plan Community and Health Center located in Tallahassee. We are a church related, not-for-profit community service organization dedicated and committed to providing services for older adults and persons with special needs by creating and administering excellent residential and health care facilities.

We are seeking a full-time Housekeeper. The Housekeeper cleans residences; apartments; Health Center rooms and bathrooms and residential common areas.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Comply with all applicable rules, policies, standards and guidelines related to employment with Westminster and its communities.

• Cleans residential units, resident’s rooms and common areas (including stairwells) of assigned work areas.
• Responsible for sanitizing Health Center rooms after a move-out or prior to a move-in.
• Send or bring “protectors” to the laundry area after being used by residents during each meal.
• Maintain dinning areas cleaned and sanitized (at least twice daily).
• Cleaning, dusting, sanitizing, sweeping, mopping and vacuuming daily of assigned work areas.
• Garbage removal including biohazards removal (by contracted vendor) from the assigned areas.
• Cleaning duties/functions as contracted by independent residents.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A high school education or equivalent and up to one month related experience or training.
• Working with older adults in a healthcare setting is desirable, preferably a minimum of 6 months.
