Haven of Bement in Bement, Illinois is seeking a dependable Housekeeper for our skilled nursing and long-term care facility. This part-time role pays $15.00 per hour and requires weekend availability.

You will help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors. The duties include cleaning rooms and common areas, following infection control procedures, handling laundry, and restocking supplies.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Healthcare or nursing home experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures.
• Ability to work every other weekend.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Perform routine housekeeping duties including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal.
• Follow infection control and sanitation procedures in a healthcare setting.
• Maintain cleanliness of housekeeping equipment and carts.
• Replenish linens, towels, toiletries, and other supplies.
• Assist with laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and distributing items.
• Help maintain a safe and orderly environment throughout the facility.
• Respond promptly and professionally to housekeeping requests.
