Benedictine Living Community-At The Shrine in Belleville, IL is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness in resident rooms, restrooms, and common areas while adhering to infection control guidelines. The role is full-time with day shifts and specific times from 12:30p-9:00p or 7:00a-3:30p, with various scheduled days.

Responsibilities include room turnovers, room readiness for admissions, stocking supplies, and operating housekeeping equipment such as vacuums and carts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a healthcare setting.

Overview

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness within the facility, including resident/patient rooms, public and resident restrooms, and shower and bathing areas by following policies/procedures and infection control guidelines.

Responsibilities

Completes resident discharges and prepares the room for next admission. Ensures all areas are properly stocked with items such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper. Operates and cares for all housekeeping equipment including vacuums, housekeeping carts, carpet cleaning machines, etc.
