NorthPointe Woods in Battle Creek, MI is seeking a dependable Housekeeper to maintain clean, safe spaces for residents. The role involves cleaning apartments, common areas, and linen changes, with a strong emphasis on infection control and resident privacy.

The position offers an hourly rate of $15.00–$16.00 and requires the ability to work weekends and holidays. Training is available, and experience in senior living or healthcare is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, hotels, or commercial cleaning is preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and stay active during shifts.
• Comfortable working around seniors and with infection-control standards.

Responsabilités

• Clean and sanitize resident apartments, bathrooms, common areas, and shared spaces.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and maintain floors and surfaces.
• Change linens and make beds as needed.
• Empty trash and replace liners.
• Restock housekeeping supplies and report low inventory.
• Report maintenance issues and safety concerns.
• Follow infection-control and company standards.
• Work cooperatively with residents, families, and team members.

What You’ll Do

As a Housekeeper at NorthPointe Woods, you’ll help maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment throughout the community.

You’ll:

• Clean and sanitize resident apartments, bathrooms, common areas, and shared spaces
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and maintain floors and surfaces
• Clean and disinfect high-touch areas
• Change linens and make beds as needed
• Empty trash and replace liners
• Keep dining rooms, hallways, bathrooms, and common spaces clean and inviting
• Restock housekeeping supplies and report low inventory
• Safely use and store cleaning products and equipment
• Help keep vacant apartments tour‑ready and move‑in ready
• Report maintenance issues, damaged items, and safety concerns
• Maintain organized housekeeping and storage areas
• Follow infection‑control, safety, and company standards
• Respect resident privacy, belongings, and confidentiality
• Work cooperatively with residents, families, and other team members
