Job summary

Bainbridge Senior Living is seeking a full-time or part-time Housekeeper at Wyatt House Retirement Center on Bainbridge Island, WA. You will keep residents’ rooms, living areas, and all building restrooms tidy and sanitary, reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor and collaborating with the team.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, prior housekeeping or custodial experience, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and strong communication.

Position Overview:

The Primary purpose of the Housekeeper is to keep residents’ rooms and living areas, as well as all building restrooms and common areas neat, tidy, clean, and sanitary at all times.

About the Role:

We are seeking a full-time Housekeeper to join our team at Wyatt House Retirement Center. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will be crucial in ensuring that our facility is always in top condition. You will report to the Housekeeping Supervisor and work closely with other members of the team to provide exceptional service to our residents.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial work
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a healthcare or senior living environment
• Knowledge of infection control procedures
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
