Job summary

NHC HealthCare North Augusta is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Assistant to join our patient-care team in North Augusta, SC. In this role you will help maintain clean patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, contributing to a safe, comfortable environment for residents and staff.

The position offers daytime shifts from 7am to 3pm or 3pm to 11pm, with competitive pay ($13-$16/hour) and opportunities for wage progression, benefits, and advancement within a caring, team-based healthcare

Qualifications

• Housekeeping/Laundry experience preferred but not required.
• Follows established cleaning schedules and policy.
• Willing to work as part of a patient-care team.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient bathrooms.
• Empty garbage cans.
• Clean patient rooms, hallways, walls, furniture and equipment.
• Load washers and handle dirty laundry.
• Fold and store laundry.
• Operate washing machines and dryers per policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
